Competition Overview

FIRST Robotics Competition is a highschool robotics competition where students have 6 weeks to build a 125 lb. robot from scratch to complete tasks for a "game" that is revealed in early January. After the 6-week build season comes an 8-week competition season culminating in a 600-team championship held in Houston.

2022 robot, Kaizen

2022 — Kaizen

  • PCH District Dalton — Ranked 12th (6-6-1), eliminated in quarterfinals
  • PCH District Albany — Ranked 5th (11-5-0), eliminated in semifinals
  • PCH District Championship — Ranked 13th (7-7-0), eliminated in quarterfinals
  • GRITS 2022 — Ranked 21st (5-8-0), eliminated in quarterfinals

Awards: Entrepreneurship Award (Dalton & GRITS), District Chairman's Award (Albany), Team Spirit Award (Championship)

2023 robot, Odin

2023 — Odin

  • PCH District Albany — Ranked 2nd (15-2-0), won event
  • PCH District Gwinnett — Ranked 3rd (13-4-0), eliminated in finals
  • PCH District Championship — Ranked 8th (11-6-0), eliminated in Round 5
  • FIRST World Championship — Ranked 10th (7-3-0), eliminated in Round 2
  • GRITS 2023 — Ranked 9th (11-5-1), won event
